鰻棚｜Tent of the Eel Catcher

《鰻棚》取材自宜蘭漁業文化中捕鰻的棚架結構，延伸藝術家對地方勞動與空間記憶的探討。作品以木雕與玻璃纖維結構重現臨時性棚架的形體，帆布影像則呈現勞動現場的氣息。這件雕塑裝置在現實與再現之間架構出一種時間的折射，讓觀者在空間中感受身體、勞動與自然環境之間的流動關係。

“Tent of the Eel Catcher” draws inspiration from the temporary eel-fishing structures found in Yilan’s coastal culture. Extending the artist’s exploration of labor and spatial memory, the work reconstructs the form of these shelters through wood carving and fiberglass, while canvas prints evoke the atmosphere of the working site. Positioned between reality and reconstruction, the installation refracts time and invites viewers to experience the fluid relationships among body, labor, and the natural environment.
